Dr. William J. Terry Jr.
Dr. William J. Terry Jr., MD was born in Birmingham, Alabama, and raised in Mobile. After graduating from UMS-Wright Preparatory School, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies while completing his pre-medical training at the University of Virginia.
He received his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine and completed a five-year residency in Urology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where exceptional mentorship shaped his focus on endourology and men's health.
Dr. Terry returned to Mobile to join his father in private practice and has been serving the community since 2013. He is actively involved in research on kidney stone surgical techniques and frequently lectures on testosterone management, kidney stone surgery, and reconstructive men's health procedures, including penile implant and artificial urinary sphincter surgery.
He has a strong interest in benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and minimally invasive surgical therapies designed to improve urinary function and quality of life in men.
Dr. Terry is passionate about delivering advanced, evidence-based urologic care while emphasizing the foundational drivers of health—nutrition, exercise, and psychosocial well-being.
Personal Life
Above all, Dr. Terry is the proud father of four amazing children and prioritizes spending as much time with them as possible.
